Home Schooling

Rusty and I felt the Lord leading us to a deeper point of rest in our lives and to let go of some of the busyness we were involved in. Our biggest decision was to home school the kidos this year! WOW! I am quickly discovering that I am learning a lot about myself and how to be still and truly concentrate on what is important. We have been at it a little over a month and it is great! I am learning more about the kids and what is important to us. They are taking on roles within our home that have never been required of them before. I am excited about this journey that we have chosen to take. It is difficult and trying at times..... don't be deceived. I am thankful and love the experience of teaching and feeding our children.


This was our first official field trip that we took to Barfield Park as an enrichment to our science lesson! Our scavenger hunt was fun and we found most of the things on our list!
