What a blast we had! Thanks to Tricia Bush for arranging the class and opening her home we were able to learn a little more about rocks and minerals. Mr. and Mrs. Elrod (he is the curator for MTSU) took time to come talk to our home school kids and provide a fun filled learning experience. They identified rocks the kids had collected in the past and they also brought boxes of sand with rocks and minerals mixed in for the kids (and Moms) to sift through. We went home with lots of new treasure!
The house was full of smiles and there were questions flying at the Elrods so quickly they couldn't answer them quickly enough! The excitement was immeasurable!
