It was 9 years ago that we brought into this world a 5lb little girl. We named her Aubrey Anna and could not wait to bring her home, love her, show her the world and teach her what we knew. It is amazing that she has probably taught us more or allowed us to learn more than we had known before we had her. She is joy in our lives and her compassion inspires us!
Aubrey has wanted to take up sewing so this year we got her a sewing machine. I have personally NEVER used one but I look forward to learning with her.

We had Aubrey's birthday dinner at The Old Spaghetti Factory (the place where we had our wedding rehearsal dinner). Aubrey's meal was free for her birthday and since it is the 40th Anniversary of the Spaghetti Factory they have a selection of meals on Tuesday that are 40% off! What a deal for a fantastic meal! (check out www.freebies4mom.com if you never have)
We ended the evening at the Predators game. What an amazing birthday for a nine year old! As most of you know we do some work at the Children's Home. We had been out there this past Saturday and as we were leaving Mike, the director, asked us if we would like tickets to Tuesday nights game. Of course we said yes! Only I had been to a hockey game about 20 years ago. As a family we had memorized 2 Corinthians 9:6-8. We have given to the Children's Home in different ways and even made sacrifices to help them out. It was such a blessing as we were riding home that evening to be able to explain to the kids the meaning of these verses in a way they could understand. We have given time and money and they gave us 5 tickets that valued $475. We never would have paid that or close to that to go but we were given that privilege (I feel) since we had been generous with the things we had to offer.
