GARDEN PLANTING

We are thankful to have planted our garden last week since we had such enormous amounts of rain this weekend. After Rusty tilled for a hour or two the kids were quick to take their shoes off and gather up our plants we started.
We did not start tomatoes this year but we bought the best there is (we may be a little biased) in Gleason, TN (where my Dad grew up) from Mr. Floyd. They really do out produce any others that we have bought locally.
Once they were in the ground it was time to start watering!
Andrew explains a little of what we planted...

And last but not least here is our bird house from our project in the fall. Notice the male is on the house and female in on the fence and they are looking at each other. We have had sparrows and the bluebirds going in and out so it will be interesting to see who lays and hatches eggs! We appreciate all of you that have contacted us and told your bluebird stories!
Happy bird watching and gardening!
