Catching up!

We recently got back from a trip to Mississippi. Rusty's brother was in a wedding in Croatia so we were helping out with our nieces for part of the time they were gone. We were able to see Rusty's brother and sister-in-law for a couple of days before they left the country.

Our first night there our youngest niece, Allison, dumped the pistachios in the kitchen floor and it seemed to be more fun to the kids to eat they from the floor rather than the bowl!
FATHER'S DAY!
The kids baked the Dad's a cake!
Victor and Caroline sang a duet at church.
ROCKET LAUNCHING!
Carter has taken an interest with rockets so he and Rusty put two together and were able to launch them while we were in Mississippi.

CrAfTs
We decorated visors, water painted, made necklaces, made bracelets, drew, had fun with foam letter and discovered the great thing--- MAGIC NOODLES!
SWIMMING
The girls had a pool and they also got to swim at Anna Gayle's house!
BLUEBERRY PICKING
One of the favorite things about Ma Sue's old house was that the kids got to pick blueberries. Regina allowed us to come one evening and let them pick, they played a little too!

We had a fun treat at Sonic one night and we also made homemade ice cream a couple of times. We also bought round wafer and the kids made ice cream sandwiches:)

A Visit with MaMaw
Vaiden, Mississippi

Somehow we failed to get a picture of MaMaw. The kids picked plums, walked the dirt road around the fields and had fun on the swing. MaMaw treated us to some fantastic Peanut Butter cookies! YUM:)
THE RUTLEDGE FARM
Edward, Ginger, Anna Gayle and Luke Rutledge
We went to visit Rusty's cousin in Crystal Springs and Rusty was able to do a little cultivating (only one row, he wasn't getting close enough to the plants)! The kids swam, rode bikes and picked corn! Edward and Ginger sent us home with a bunch of peas, corn and okra (we were busy putting it up when we return to TN)!
We had a fun lunch! And got to see their beautiful home they built and moved in to.
We had a fun but VERY busy trip! The 6 kids did great together. We were able to see Rusty's other brother, Ivan, and his family a couple of times and found out that we will be an Aunt and Uncle again! It is a blessing to get to see our family and to enjoy the time we are together!

Wow! Looks like you had a great time. What fun! On a more personal note...I can't believe Carter. He looks more like Rusty everyday.
