painting-biking-canning

On Friday Aubrey and Carter were able to go to an art class with some other home school kids. The project of the morning was Monkey Business. Faithful Strokes is a great and fun place for ALL ages! Go by and see Lisa!
Sunday morning while it was still in the 60's we loaded up the bikes and headed to the Greenway! What a beautiful day! We spent 3 hours there enjoying the bike trail, the river, flowers, a couple of playgrounds and running into friends. We also stopped at Cannonsburg, a historical site, and looked at old tractors, a school house, an outhouse and lots of neat stuff from the early days in Murfreesboro. What a blessed day with the family!
For lunch Sunday I decided to make Rusty his favorite--Salsa Verde! I had so many tomatillos that I decided to try and can some. All but 1 jar sealed so we'll see how it tastes in a few months!
All of this along with a family movie night (Little House on the Prairie), church a couple of times, and a cub scout cookout we had a fantastic weekend together!
