When we were away on our trip up north Carter's kitten, Mittens, went missing. One of our sweet neighbors was coming over twice a day to check on the kittens and dog. She called Friday night the 11th and said she had not seen Mittens that evening. The kittens had begun to wander in the neighborhood looking for someone to play with. We returned home that Sunday and she was still missing. Several neighbors had seen both kittens but not since we were back. We posted signs and went door to door but no leads. Rusty decided to go to the pound on Monday and low and behold she was there. One of the neighbors had taken her in. I was a little disturbed upon finding this out. To get her home we would have to get current shots on our other animals and get Mittens fixed. Until all that happened she stayed put at the pound. It was all taken care of and we got her back this morning!! I had the "can you believe the nerve of someone taking her over there" attitude and sweet little Carter says, "It worked!" What worked? He said, "I have prayed every morning and night to God and asked Him to bring Mittens home and He answered my prayer. You know a neighbor took her to the pound where she was safe, God protected her there. Then God told Daddy to go to the pound and she was there and now I get my kitten back. I am glad God answered my prayer." I was just speechless.
