Making use of old crayons

Here is a fun thing to do with small pieces of crayon that the kids don't want to color with anymore. Break or shave them with a cheese grater and place them in mini muffin pans. The kids choose what colors to put together or you can make solids, of course. Place them in a 200 degree oven until just melted. Remove, cool and pop out of the pans and you now have a fun cookie shaped crayon!
