andrew's wisdom

On Thursday night we were blessed to go to the World Music Mission concert at my parents church. It was a great evening that Carter decided must be a "once in a lifetime experience". After the concert that lasted much longer than expected we stopped by Paul and Autumn's to take some birthday cake by and wish Autumn a happy birthday! We were spending the night at my parents and on the way there I drove my parents car, my dad drove one of their cars and Rusty and Andrew rode in Rusty's truck. Andrew quickly fell asleep and Rusty missed the short cut Dad took so he went the way he knew. Suddenly there were blue lights and he was being asked if there was a legal reason he was going 14 mph over the speed limit. Rusty is known for a heavy foot. Meanwhile at home we were beginning to wonder where he was. As the officer came back to the window Andrew woke up. Rusty said nothing to him and when all the business was taken care of and they were driving off Andrew pipes up and says, "If you keep it under the 5 and the 0 that won't happen." (Rusty did not get a ticket and was actually in a 30 mph speed zone.)
