The Blind Side

Rusty and I went to see the movie Blind Side on Friday night. The thing I LOVED about this movie is that while the wife/mom may have lacked submission, dressed a little inappropriately for some Christians and had other flaws (as we all do) she had love and compassion that most of us Christians who dress and speak "correctly" don't have. She WAS speaking up for a child that did not have a voice or a chance. She was defending one of God's fatherless. She did not care what her friends thought. She showed a sacrifice of time and put her life on the line for this boy who most Christians would be scared to talk to. I loved this movie for its promotion of adoption and loving a child who most people view as worthless.
