Today we have good news here:

• $1000 gift
  
• background checks came in the mail
• my birth certificate came in the mail
• all 5 of us have a clean bill of health
• letter from bank came
• opened an adoption account
  

We are waiting on a few recommendation letters and a letter from a CPA (due to the self employment) and then we will be ready to move on with the home study! God is so good. The Dr. we choose was adopted himself... we had no idea. We are finding that people are excited about the adoption... people we don't even know. The ladies at the office where Rusty was getting the medical forms notarized were squealing like little kids. It is fun to celebrate... even with strangers! We do hope to be hanging two more stocking on the banister next Christmas... actually we'll be hanging them we just hope we have two children here to open them!
