YES, today we went to the USCIS office in Nashville and had our fingerprints taken! Now our next step is waiting for one precious piece of paper, I171-H, pre-approval to bring an orphan into the country. After that we will be notarizing, authenticating and wrapping up our Dossier. Our understanding is that it can take 2-12 weeks to receive the I171-H, so obviously we are hoping for the 2 week wait, we'll see!

I would LOVE to talk to you more about how you came to your decision to adopt 2 children (vs 1) and what ages you "requested".
