reality check

A friend of ours encouraged us to read a blog post so I read it this morning and cried, a lot. I think we hear statistics and even see pictures and then we turn a blind eye or a deaf ear to the situations people are in all over this world. My heart is aching as more burdens are placed upon it. It is also full of God's grace and goodness at the same time. Are we going to help as God has commanded us to do? What are we going to do if we are willing to help? My thoughts are don't spend (waste) too much time deciding. If it aligns with God's word and he calls us to care for others just go where you heart is burdened the most. You do have to educate yourself and seek out the troubles of the world to even know what your choices are. Here is the lengthy post if you are interested...
