busy day

I started this post Thursday night and just realized I never finished it:)

The kids knocked their school work out in good time today so the afternoon was filled with a few projects...


Carter made a motor with a battery, magnets and copper wire..

The wire was spinning around and around the battery...

Andrew and I made cookies with all kinds of good stuff in them...

Aubrey started on a quit for a friend of mine having a baby...

And Rusty smoked a whole bunch of chicken to take to the Children's home, we had dinner with them...

It was one of the more productive and fun days we have had in a while:)
