Toasting pumpkin seeds...

As we carved our pumpkins we set aside the seeds because we always enjoyed toasting them and snacking on them. We thought we would try 4 different varieties this year.

Carter chose to use popcorn salt to flavor his batch.

Andrew went with plain sea salt.


And Aubrey chose cinnamon.
Since Rusty and I both like spicy things we did our 4th one with cayenne pepper.
When the seeds were done we had a taste test and 4 out of the 5 of us liked the seeds flavored with popcorn salt..... Andrew liked sea salt just because they were his!
