This is part of the playground where we will be assisting the home in getting it back to a safe and useful state. And this is where we will be putting the mulch that Aubrey has worked hard to purchase. I wanted to share a God event that took place in the midst of raising money. A couple of weekends ago some friends from church called and told us about a liquidation place that had a pallet of mulch for $5.00 a bag (Watson's is currently selling it for $18 a bag). Anyway, we had no way to haul the bags and were told that was all they had in stock. When Rusty and Mike (the children's home director) went to pick up what they had on the following Tuesday we were
blessed to find out that there was another pallet in the back and we were given a discount that we were previously told we couldn't have. We need about 120 more bags to complete the job and it looks like it will take a little less money due to some
thoughtful friends who took time to call us. Isn't it great when people think of others?! We will do some dirt work and bring in gravel
and then we will fill in the area with
the mulch we
have purchased! God is so good!
