Fun with MaSue!

We were blessed to be able to spend about 8 days with Rusty's Mom, known by the kids as MaSue (after her grandmother). I can tell you that it is such a gift to have a mother-in-law who you love to be around and spend time with. I am thankful for her place in our lives.

In order to treat her upon her arrival Aubrey and I made a cheesecake!
The boys worked very hard at decorating the driveway in order to surprise her and give her a special welcome!
Andrew just being Andrew!
This is our rabbit trap. The kids are determined to catch a rabbit and now that we have planted peas we might get some furry visitors! And, NO, we will not keep any rabbits as pets at this time--possibly eat one but no pets! We hoped to catch "little Peter" while MaSue was here but we didn't have that kind of success.
Sunday night we roasted hot dogs and marshmallows!
What a clean face-very typical!
A little too much smoke for Rusty!
During 6 of the 8 days one or more of the kids had a fever but we still made time for lots of games. MaSue brought dominoes and taught the kids how to play!
We love you MaSue and miss your presence in our home! We are looking forward to the next time we are together!
