ART & BAKING

This week Aubrey and Carter have been attending Art Camp. They have painted, invented new colors, used plaster, clay, chalk and so on! It is great to combine fun and learning into one event. They come home each day excited and ready to tell what has gone on during the 3 hours we were apart. Andrew and I have loved our one on one time during the day as well. He wanted to get in a little art too, so below is what he painted on canvas today.
Art is great way to express feeling, to be free to do it just like you want it done. I can learn and observe so much of my kids personalities in what they do. Andrew is bright and cheerful most of the time and walks a different path than some. His rainbow is a great representation of his colorful personality. His dinosaur is multicolored and even has a lightening strike downs it's back... but it is smiling, again it reminds me of him! I think the Lord uses art (if you will allow Him) to learn about others and to see his glory and beauty and majesty! I believe there is an artist somewhere in each one of us!

MUFFIN TIME
We put those blueberries to use and made some muffins for lunch! Aubrey does not care for the berries so we made her some with chocolate chips.
I am thankful that my kids (all 3) love to be in the kitchen spending time with me cooking and baking! I hope these skills will be used in their lives later on to serve others!
Bless and be blessed!
