Catching up (again)!

Fish Sitting
Meet Jeremiah. He was with us for about 2 weeks while some friends traveled. We fed him blood worms and fish pellets and oh yeah, Rusty had a little mishap while tossing some popcorn to coat it with salt. Yes, a little kernel flew into the tank and Jeremiah QUICKLY devoured it! Rusty was amazed and I was panicked! Jeremiah survived and is now home with his owner! Of course, the kids want fish~
ANDREW
Andrew still really loves his Buzz costume and as you can see it really doesn't fit. You can even see his cute yellow briefs through the costume that has to be nearing it's retirement. He and I rode bikes for a while and his free spirit was as comfortable wearing that as anything. It does show his wonderful personality!
THE KIDS :)
FriendS
It is a blessing to have friends close by that can come over and hang out for a casual afternoon!BLUEBERRIES
Last week we went to pick blueberries here in Murfreesboro with Grammy.
And today Andrew and I went to pick with some of our best friends! We have brought home about 20lbs. We made blueberry jelly, froze several quarts, made blueberry pancakes and look forward to muffins in the morning!
IN THE KITCHEN
We love gardening of all sorts here. With some of our cucumbers we made a batch of Kosher Pickles. They are ok but still lack a good week of refrigeration to bring out full flavor. The are already disappearing quickly though!
Autumn brought us a box (after we devoured a basket) of peaches from GA. Aubrey (the pirate) helped me make some freezer jam.... delicious!
Rusty made these great HOMEMADE biscuits Sunday morning and yes we covered them with Peach Jam! We have also made Peach/Blueberry Cobbler... not doing too good on the healthy eating are we?RoCkEt TiMe
Carter now has the whole family into building (from a kit) and launching rockets. It was a fun afternoon with the family. His goal is to design and create his own.
Who can Hula Hoop the longest... or with the most style?
Check out the videos!!

Carter wants to design and build his own rocket? Now who does that sound like? Like father, like son.
