Science FUN

When we decided to home school last year I met with several current home school moms. I did not order a specific curriculum but rather took recommendations of what everyone loved. Repeatedly I was told to go with the Apologia science (Exploring Creation). I purchased Zoology 1 and the kids loved it! The Lord is given credit for what has been created and He is honored!

We made it about halfway through our book last year. This book leaves so much room for creativity and can be used on any level. When we began the kids were 4, 6 and 8 years old. We recently put our Bird Field Guide and the kids Life Lists in the car so when we are out and spot a bird we can look it up and write down our finding. I have heard many families say they do not like science but we LOVE it! It is all about the right series and we have found a winner in our house. We went ahead and purchased Zoology 2 because we feel we will move through science a little more quickly this year! Just today we discovered several butterflies in out yard that we have to identify! Thanks for a well done book, Jeannie Fulbright! Learning can be fun and glorifying to God!
