our first fundraiser

WE NEED YOUR HELP... SAVE THE DATE!
We are excited to tell you all about a fundraising dinner that we will be having on Monday, February 8th to help fund our adoption of two children from Rwanda! Jim 'N Nick's of Murfreesboro has graciously agreed to give us a percentage of all purchases made that evening from 5 p.m. until close! We will have a flier containing details of this night ready the first week of February and will send that through email so you can invite your friends and family to join us and help us bring our new son and daughter home!

NOW FOR YOUR PART!
During the evening we will have a silent auction set up from 5-9 p.m. for guests to bid on various items. All of the proceeds from this auction will be used towards the adoption. We need your help to get items donated! We will auction whatever you think will sell:

• gift certificates of any kind
• merchandise
• basket sets
• goods
• services
• apparel
  
• signed memorabilia
  

A few examples of items that have already been donated are:

• gift basket of Jim 'N Nick's gift card & BBQ sauces
• gift basket of scrapbooking goodies
• gift certificate from Tire World, Inc.
  
• fun scarves for girls made by Aubrey
  
• handyman services for a day by Rusty
• canvas painting by Carter
  

We are looking for donations not only from you, but also from any contacts you may have! Whatever you can do will be greatly appreciated! We need to have all of these items collected A.S.A.P. If they are collected by January 29th the name of the vendor can be listed in our local paper as a donor. Robin Wrather will be coordinating the silent auction and donated items. Please contact her or one of us with any donations and we can schedule pick times. And remember, invite everyone you know on February 8th between 5 p.m. and close to Jim 'N Nick's and feel free to pass this along to your email and Facebook friends!
