At Oakland Mansion we got to taste a little of the past. We watched a pottery maker, made butter, made candles, went on a scavenger hunt, walked through the wetlands, did a little weaving, pet some cows and pigs, stuffed pillows with sheep's wool, learned the history of the mansion, played old fashioned games, beat rugs, washed clothes on a wash board and much more! There was more than we had time to do but it was a fun day... especially with friends there!
