2068.6 miles

We certainly put some miles on the car and loved almost every minute of it! We went to PA, leaving Rusty at home to work, so we could visit my grandmother and lots of other family. We packed so much into our time it was unbelievable! We went to NJ to my cousin's house, to my other cousin's farm, to the beach/boardwalk in NJ, to Philly to get some cheese steaks, to Lapps Farm to get ice cream, to Green Dragon Market, to Kitchen Kettle, to Shady Maple and the list goes on. We spent much time near the Amish where my grandmother lives, what beautiful country! I had a hard time posting pics so I chose just one... the day all the family that could got together. (Notice little Myles in Aubrey's lap... adopted from Rwanda and certainly made me even MORE eager to get our children home!) We are blessed to have a family that loves one another but more importantly family loves the Lord. We were loved well by so many on our trip! AND when we got home Rusty had ripped out and replaced the stairs in our house... if you have been here you know it desperately needed to be done! What a gift!

I love Pennsylvania- the countryside is just beautiful. I spent a summer there working in a kids' camp while I was in university. I was living in the UK at the time, so it was a big trip! I spent the 4th of July in Philadelphia in 2000 and it was a huge celebration from morning until night- I had so much fun. I would love to go back there again.
