Yesterday was a harder day.  Mom woke up confused and they were having a hard time keeping her blood pressure up.  She is also having some fluid start to build up on her lungs.  

The confusion did seem to go away mid afternoon.  Mom was on 2 blood pressure meds as of yesterday and they were able to take her off one of those and keep her BP at a decent level.  I have not directly heard anything else about the fluid on the lungs.

Her chest tube and one IV were removed yesterday.  She ate some solid foods.  She made one loop around the floor and then was unable to complete the 2nd one in the afternoon.  She was very tired yesterday.

I received a text during the night that mom was having some kind of episode.  They did an x-ray and were supposed to do an ECG.  Sounds like multiply things are going on with her.

When mom was woken up all she would say was that she was so sick and would not engage in any other conversation at all.  Not sure if she is dealing with severe pain or something else.

Mom has not had any pain medication since 3pm yesterday and the Dr. is reluctantly giving her some now.  The medication can cause confusion and that is why he is reluctant. 

Thank you for praying with us for answers and healing.  While yesterday and this morning seem to be discouraging we know that our Heavenly Father has her in his hands.
