After several pre-op appointments last week, it was a marathon, and 3 hours of dental work, mom is scheduled to have her valve replacement surgery this Friday the 24th at 1:00 PM. The surgeon said the stay would be about 8 days, maybe more, maybe less. And when mom comes home she will need 24 hour care for at least 2 weeks. We are scheduling people to be with her so my dad can work at least half days.
I will post an update on that day as soon as I have one.
Many of you have asked about meals. I am setting up some sort of meal schedule/calendar for them when we know what day mom comes home.
