Last Thursday we met some friends in Wartrace at Valley Home Farm to pick strawberries. This is the first time Aubrey, Carter and Andrew have ever picked. The bushes were full and the picking was easy. We decided that if we ever have a little more land we will be growing several hills of strawberries of our own!
The kids ate plenty as they picked (with the exception of Aubrey who does not care for strawberries).
The kids did a great job at staying focused!
They did taste as good as they look!
We took a picnic lunch and enjoyed it on one of the tables the farm provides for visitors. We also indulged in some strawberry honey popsicles and homemade strawberry ice cream! The kids enjoyed the ducks and chickens and running around the grounds! It was a great morning!
