race time

On Saturday Carter was in the pinewood derby with his Cub Scout Pack. He and Rusty worked on his car off and on for about 3 weeks.

The entire pack competed against each other in the races but the cars below are all Wolf Scouts. Carter's car is in the front left of the picture.

This is a video of Carter's first race. He won 2 and lost 2.

Later Saturday night Carter learned how to grill chicken, part of a scout elective. He had Rusty's help and they did a great job. We even had leftovers for chicken sandwiches the next day!
