christmas bazaar

Today the 3 older kids got to test out their entrepreneurial skills.

The boys made and sold slings shots, rubberband guns and homemade candy cane playdough.  They each made about $30.

Aubrey sewed some waist aprons, made some beaded bracelets and made spiced tea mix.  She also made about $30.  The shoppers enjoyed the free samples of tea!

It was a lot of fun and the kids even learned a little bartering skills at the end, trading their goods for others.

They have been chattering since they have been home, making plans for next time!
Aubrey is wrapping some gifts she purchased there and the boys are delivering baked goods to neighbors!

What a great opportunity for your children. It helps to teach them that hard work pays off.
