positively creative

A couple of days ago Carter came up with a brilliant idea (or at least I think so).  He and Aubrey tweaked on it all day.  He had the idea to take a 3-ring binder (the type with the clear pocket in the front) and make a notebook full of activities that you can do in the car.  For example Aubrey created this ROBOT page....
you take it out of the binder and slide it into the front pocket and use dry erase markers on it...
Just wipe it clean when you are finished!

Here is Carter's "What's for Dinner" page...

and after he worked on it...

The ideas are endless and I love it!  Here are a few more pages they made (they made about 10-15 in all)...

You can let you kids make their own OR you can make one for them to enjoy the on the next rainy day or the next time you are in the car for a while!  I LOVE THIS!  And will probably make some of my own for the next time we are in a pinch and needing easy entertainment!  Andrew and Benjamin have both loves this too!  Hope, well she colored all over herself when Aubrey let her try it out!  I think the Aqua Doodle is more her style for now!  Oh, and they used card stock paper for the pages so it would hold up longer!

Cool! You can put the other pages in page protectors and use dry erase markers on that too so you don't have to keep taking them out of the front or back covers! Love those kiddos!
