This sweet boy, not very old here, is ours.
I wish I could have held him at this age but the truth is is that only the Lord knew that one day, three and a half years later he would join our family and become one of our treasured sons.
This is the face that we met in Rwanda and have fallen in love over the past 16 months.

Motorized vehicles make him the happiest, the one constant since he has been home.
Benjamin loves being a brother.
He talks about his brothers a lot.
He loves belonging to a family, being a part.
This boy of ours loves life, he loves people.
His favorite food is pancakes with syrup.
He also loves chocolate.
He eats just about anything you give him.
Benjamin loves to hug, give and receive them.
Today we are in the mountains, he is excited.
