sallee is in her eternal home

Last night Sallee went to be with Jesus, her Maker, her Savior, her Redeemer.

Sallee is no longer in pain.

Her family now has to move forward knowing that she is resting in eternity, dancing with Jesus.  They also know that they are moving forward without a mom and wife who served their family well.

Sallee fought hard for nearly 2 years to beat the ugly cancer.
Today she is healed.

God give me the wisdom to serve their family in the days, weeks, months and years to come.  I pray the hearts of the children will be protected.  Lord you know that three of these kids have now experienced loss or abandonment of a mother for a second time now.  I don't understand how this can be good but I know your ways are perfect and that you are sovereign, I trust you.

I know that we are to live with the end in mind, Sallee did.  Although she desired more time with her family she knew that there is no better place than in heaven with Jesus even if that meant leaving her family behind for now.

Sallee you will be missed.  Many people loved and appreciated you.  Your heart for the orphan was huge and your life and choices showed that.  Thank you  for being a great example to us all.  You raised your children to love the Lord and to show respect to everyone they met.  You showed us what it means to honor and respect your husband, to let him lead.  Montie was your ROCK!

Sallee knowing you was a gift.  Thank you!
This picture was taken when our friendship was beginning.
This was before their Samson and our Hope and Benjamin came home.

Elizabeth. You say things so beautifully because you believe it and practice it. I'm in awe of your faithfulness. I'm sorry Sallee is gone. I'm sorry you have lost a dear sweet friend. The only consolation is that she is in the most perfect place. -Abby Peterson

I'm so sorry...I know the grief for a friend with little ones left behind is so hard. These are the things I look forward to seeing through HIS eyes when we are face to face. Praying for you, my friend.
